About Us...

The Church of Valdosta, under the name "Calvary Connection," held it's first service on the first Sunday of November 2014. A group of 30+ people met in a store front building on West Will Ave. in the heart of Valdosta, Ga. The beginning stages of our church were simply to reach the lost of our city. Since that time the Lord has blessed CCPC to acquire it's own property at 3460 Knights Academy Rd. Valdosta, Ga.

TCOV is a church with a heart to reach the least, the last, and the lost of our city, as well as to be a center for the preaching and teaching of the truth of God's Word. This is a church that has dynamic singing, preaching and worship services. People from all walks of life are a part and are welcome. We are excited to see an integrated church that is reaching those that feel rejected, hopeless, and empty.

Recently the Lord has spoken over our church on 4 different occasions. From these messages we made a joint decision to change the name of our church to "The Church of Valdosta" in accordance to what the Lord had placed on so many people's hearts to tell us. We believe it is vital and strategic change that has brought an enormous depth to the call of God on our church.

Our Pastor...

Pastor Scott Smith began preaching at 16 years old. Since that time he has had the privilege of preaching in 4 continents, 7 countries, and all over the U.S. As a missionary in the Dominican Republic, the Lord spoke to him to begin the work that he was doing on the mission field in the city of Valdosta, Ga.

As a missionary pastor, Pastor Scott wanted to be involved with the community in greater capacity. In 2020, Pastor received his Bacheleor degree from Valdosta State University in Early Childhood Education and immediately began teaching in a local community as well as receiving a reciprocal Bachelor degree in Theology and a Master of Theology from The College for Global Deployment, Vancouver, Washington.

As pastors, Scott and Shanna Smith live to see people healed, saved and delivered.

What to Expect

Each service at The Church of Valdosta you’ll find a vibrant multicultural atmosphere with a mix of traditional and contemporary music and a powerful message that will speak to you where you are at. On Sunday mornings children are well-cared for through our Kingdom Kid's children's ministry.

If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money.
